This section covers what investments in time or money may be involved. The level
of effort for this project is estimated at between 1-5 Weeks. At this time, some
personal communication is required before it is fully known what the site owner
needs. Therefore, all of none of what is stated here may apply to you at this time.
Time, if stated as a number of days, is calculated using calendar days, unless
otherwise specified, and will include Saturdays, Sundays, and legal holidays.
However, if the last day falls on a Saturday, Sunday, or legal holiday, then the
period shall include the next working day. |

Some Clients will desire to independently edit or update their Web pages after completion of the
site as a way to control costs and avoid the expense of a Maintenance Agreement. In fact, the
developer recommends Blogs like WordPress as option to build sites with:
- Blog software is free
- Client gets the benefits of a Content Management System for FREE, and none of the
headaches
- Reduces design costs. Default or free themes are readily available. You can start out using
mine, or the ones that come with the default installation.
- HostMySite (see Hosting), has FREE 24/7 tech support for issues, even with the most basic
account

Our agreement contemplates the creation of a Web site viewable by both Internet Explorer and
Mozilla based browsers. Compatibility is defined herein as all critical elements of each page being
viewable in both browsers. |

Client agrees that the Developer may put a byline on the bottom of their site, establishing design
and development credit. It's not required, but that's common courtesy. |

HTML/CSS/Javascript code needed to complete the project will be provided, for the agreed upon
size of the site. If additional pages/templates are necessary to accommodate screen resolutions,
platforms, or increasing content requirements, additional charges may apply on a per
page/template basis. |

The Developer will optimize the Client's website with keywords, descriptions, text, HTML Tags
(title, ALT), on 100 documents. The fee for this is $275, due to the care and time it takes to
optimize pages. Training will be provided to the Client in how to do this themselves, if they do not
wish to have a Maintenance Agreement to cover these updating actions. |
