AboutSuper Unit 5000 cat furniture is the Lego version of cat furniture. Units can be stood up and stacked together for climbing, or laid down for hiding spaces if you're cat is too old to jump. It's a series of tubes that are fitted together. This modular design makes your imagination, the only real limitation to what can be made from it. Light weight, easy to clean, compact storage, no complex assembly, and entertaining!

Project ChallengesThe flash presentation to the right runs through the benefits and features of the Super Unit Product. Key marketing points were lightweight, no complex assembly required, easy to clean, visually appealing, and custom made to match your decor, and most importantly entertaining to humans!
Website design - A visually appealing eCommerce site to sell custom made furniture. The MIVA storefront has been customized to match the theme of the website. Advanced features such as custom fields were also created. Product concept - Beyond just thinking of an idea, coming up with the concept means over-coming the objections and limitations of other products on the market. You have to come up with reasons why customers should buy from you, and not the competition.Testing - Cat furniture must be tested by cats. But also this involves how a person could damage or destroy the units, either by accident, or on purpose. Some interesting tests that were run include how much weight it took to crush the units from either a prone or upright position. Quality assurance / customer support - You want to make the best product possible, as this limits returns. Marketing and Media Buyer - Managing the pay per click ads that appear on Google, Yahoo and MSN. Perform routine Search Engine Optimization (SEO) work. Buy targeted banner advertising on TextLinkAds, Project Wonderful, and other Internet properties. Maintain and manage paid directory listings such as PriceGrabber.Manufacture / Assembly - A period of 2 months were spent researching the best ways to manufacture the units, and document production issues. Such as, how long it takes for glue to dry. Additionally supply issues were worked out, such as where to obtain raw materials, and how to deliver completed units to customers.

They'll run themselves out of breath trying to chase the the spot wherever you shine it. You will have to literally hide the toy in a drawer to end playtime.
